These two photographs were taken during live performance. She presented her own Jazz-Carribbean choreography. Her seamless motion was beautiful to experience.

Only 19 at the time, she had already been requested to perform for several well respected and internationally known dance theaters.

World Renowned Musicians

Conceived in May of 2003, effective February 1, 2006 , I launched an anthology project called “Musicians Through Chicago.”

Goals & Objectives:

The project is to photograph well known Musicians and their sidemen – regional, national and international – represented by, visiting and/or playing Chicago Clubs, Theaters, Orchestra Halls, etc. The music genre encompasses Jazz & Blues.

It is my objective to bring to light, through biography and portraiture, the value of artists, the importance of Chicago as an art / musical center, and the significant contributions that Chicago Clubs and owners/managers and institutions have made and continue to make to public awareness and definition of music.
